Your home is where you learn, grow and evolve. SCMS NOIDA is rightly considered a home away from home as it is an abode to hundreds of students from different ethnicities and culture. It stands to its mission of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' which means the world is one family. SCMS NOIDA strives to bring the world closer and inculcate cross-cultural sensitisation.

Internationalization cell at SCMS NOIDA celebrates International Students Day every year on 31 July, on the occasion of our esteemed Chancellors birthday, Prof. Dr. S. B. Mujumdar, a renowned academician & educationist, whose vision is to create a platform where students from all across the globe are appreciated, respected, and embraced with open arms and SCMS NOIDA strives to put his vision into reality.

International Students day is celebrated with the objective of acclimatising students to varied cultures across the world. Last year, on July 31,2020, Internationalization Cell at SCMS NOIDA successfully conducted a webinar on the subject "Internationalization of Higher Education: Way Forward'' We were  honoured to have Mrs. Reeta Narang Sood, Civil Servant- UK Government, and Dr.Geoffrey Clements, Chairman, Commonwealth Infrastructure Partners as part of our celebration. They enlightened the students with their profound insights and expertise as well as guided us on the road to internationalization of higher education. The event was  followed by a sapling plantation drive with our commitment to creating a sustainable environment.

This year, Internationalisation cell is celebrating International Students Day 2021 on July 31, 2021 with the objective to expose students to different changing scenarios across the globe and thus make them understand the vibrant and dynamic global competencies. The event will expose students to the emerging global competencies in a VUCA worldthrougha webinar on"Developing Global Competencies for a VUCA world addressed by an eminent international speaker,Dr. Uwe Napiersky, Associate Professor, Aston University, UK. This will be followed by a small cultural event online presented by international students to mark the occasion.

It is a well-known fact that learning and engaging with the people from all around the globe not only help us get a cross-cultural experience but also develop our acceptance skills and form more informed and open mindsets. Learning together and sharing thoughts certainly enables a better understanding of the global issues and opens them to countless new opportunities and connections that can strengthen their grip in the corporate world. Taking this into account, SCMS NOIDA aims to guide the students to step out of their comfort zones and expand their horizons to a whole new world altogether.
